Conflict between majority Buddhist Rakhine and minority Muslim Rohingya populations in Burma has forced many Rohingya people to flee their homes. Tens of thousands of refugees are now in displacement camps along Burma's west coast. This was the most serious outbreak of violence since June, when a Rakhine woman was allegedly raped and murdered by several Rohingya men.
